Relationships are key to success in real estate. Some relationships take longer then others to form and all need consistent nurturing, from both sides. One-way relationships usually end up in a dead end. This year I am committing to networking more and having meaningful conversations with the people I meet. Quite often I witness people at networking events saying the same thing over and over, "great to see you", "we should really get together", and "I've been meaning to call you".
We all know that many of these interactions will never amount to the suggested action. I have been guilty of it in the past and that is why I am focus on following through with everything I suggest. Everything starts with a plan and for those that feel they just don't have time to do this or that, put a schedule in place and managing your time will become much easier. I find that blocking off my time and making lists help tremendously. When I think of something I want to do, I do it. This removes the thought from my head so I have room for others. Below is a great chart that I found to help get you started!
