This morning at 2:00 was the traditional time for setting clocks ahead an hour to signify daylight savings time; however, we had already done that a month ago on March 9th. By the way, how has everyone been enjoying that extra evening daylight to commute or play soccer or softball or squeeze in some yardwork? I understand that this experiment hasn't been too popular and next year may be abandoned in favor of the traditional date.

Anyway, I was wondering yesterday that after all the effort to set my many clocks ahead an hour a month ago which ones of them who feel like turning themselves ahead another hour. Sure enough, there were some. So what should have been an automatic adjustment to the new time became two manual adjustments - one a month ago to set the time ahead when they weren't programmed to do so and one this morning to set the time back when their internal programming wasn't paying attention to the current calendar - and a little disbelief at how it could have gotten so late so quickly.

I still have an old alarm clock.  I would thought the same thing if that happened to me.  Hope you were able to make it  a good hour. Lu

Andrew, two time adjustments in a month's time is a little much - like traveling east one time zone and then another (not really practical from Maine) - and not coming back until the fall.

Lu, stick with the old alarm clock - you're probably better off that way.
