  • 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Party at TAVO Restaurant and Tavern (Greensboro): A live DJ will be playing the best of Top 40, R&B, and Oldies, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the location at 212 South Elm Street in downtown.   • The Plaids New Year’s Revolution Party (Winston-Salem): Cover band concert starts at 10 p.m. at Ziggy’s located at 170 West Ninth Street. Includes a cash balloon drop at midnight. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
  • New Year’s Eve: Brubeck Jazz! (Winston-Salem): Presented Winston-Salem Symphony Plugged-In Pops with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet at the R.J. Reynolds Memorial Auditorium. Starts at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $67. For more information, visit the Symphony’s website.
  • New Year’s Eve Oldies Dance Party (Greensboro): Includes music from the 1930s to 1990s. It start at 9 p.m. and goes until Midnight at the Grange, on Guilford School Road off Lindley Road.   • Noon Year’s Eve (Greensboro): Family-friendly event held at the Greensboro Children’s Museum from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. $7-8 includes museum admission.
