Maggiano's Comes to Columbia MD!
My husband an I have fond memories of going to Chevy Chase Maggiano's in NW Washington DC with friends on New Years Eve and celebrating Birthdays with friends and family. Now Maggiano's has come to Columbia MD and our daughter and son-in-law treated us to dinner as one of our Christmas gifts.
It was a festive holiday atmosphere at Maggiano's and we had a party of 6 people which made it easier to speak to everyone. I remember a time with 12 friends and it was impossible to converse with everyone!
It's fun to order the family style menu at Maggiano's which allows 3 appetizer choices, 4 different entrees, and 2 desserts, all with unlimited refills. We devoured the delicious appetizers with refills, so after that they may hope you don't ask for refills on the main course, but we did! In the traditional Italian family style the food servings are in abundance, so come hungry and eat slowly!
Since we moved to Carroll County, Columbia is much closer than NW DC. In fact my real estate office is in Columbia MD so the convenience is great. The drawback of being a part of Columbia Mall is the terrible parking situation although there is a parking building behind the restaurant and movie theater as well as valet parking for $9.
