Wendy Papasan of the Papasan Real Estate Team affiliated with Keller Williams Realty's Austin Southwest market center in Austin, Texas, recently visited the Keller Williams Realty Northeast in Kingwood, Texas to conduct two training events. The first training event was titled "How to Balance Life and Have a Successful Real Estate Career as a Mom". The second training event was titled "How to Build a Mega Real Estate Team and Have a Life".
What agents gained from both these events is the fact that whether they are new or experienced in the real estate business, there are several opportunities to leverage. It is not necessarily about creating balance between work and life, rather it is about creating counterbalance between the two. Several times throughout Wendy's presentation, she would reference concepts written by her husband, Jay Papasan, and Gary Keller in the best seller, The ONE Thing. Is it possible to have balance in life and business? Absolutely not. Is it possible to have counterbalance. YES!
