Let me start off by saying Happy New Year to anyone who reads this post! I hope you had a fun and safe new year's celebration with friends and family and that you are looking forward to all the opportunities 2015 has to offer. And speaking of opportunities, here's another great one popping up once again in downtown St. Petersburg, the city that just can't stop growing and improving. 2014 brought a handful of exciting announcements for the development of St. Pete's downtown, and for the time being it looks like there are no signs of stopping going into the new year. It almost seems like everywhere you turn, there's a new project on the horizon or already underway just every few months and on every major corner of the city. But you don't see us complaining, especially since all this construction is sending St Pete down the right path in terms of both style and economic development. Bring on the projects!!
So what's the newest addition to the big downtown boom? It's called The Towns on Fifth, and as the name implies, it is a brand new project consisting of eight luxury townhomes located at 145 5th Ave NE, just one block from beautiful Beach Drive. Three of the eight units have already been reserved, according to the managing broker for Goldman Morgan, and construction is expected to begin sometime between now and March 2015. The townhomes were designed by Clayton Allen Homes, a large home design/construction company that builds around the country and has a true nack for integrating a sense of both elegance and functionality in their designs - a perfect choice for the hip downtown area.
All eight units will feature 3 floors of luxurious living space, complete with a private elevator allowing access to all 3 floors. Each unit also features a private rooftop terrace and a two-car garage, which opens to a private central driveway leading to the main streets of the city below. For added security, all entrances are gated. The interior features an abundance of large laminated and insulated windows and sliding glass doors for letting in lots natural light and offering stunning views of the city, all while remaining energy efficient. 10-foot ceilings give it that slightly vaulted feel and plenty of headroom for taller residents and guests. The kitchen is state-of-the-art and features stained wood cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Beautiful wood floors are found throughout the main living areas. The bathrooms feature the same wood cabinetry and granite countertops as the kitchen, and the master bedroom flaunts an oversized tub. There's even a huge walk-in closet in both corner and interior design plans! These townhomes are as classy as they come and just teeming with luxurious amenities! Not to mention a location that can't be beat with all the downtown shopping, nightlife, dining, and waterfront activities you could ever want! This is a spectacular addition indeed and I can't wait to see the finished product.
