If you are purchasing a home this year, make sure that you are prepared!

Seems like everything that you read or see on the financial networks the past few weeks have a rosy forecast for real estate in 2015.  Whether it's US News or CNN or any of a myriad of other outlets, the trends for 2015 indicate that Buyers, especially first time homebuyers, will be back.

While this is great news, if you are one of the many potential homebuyers for this year, it could be daunting.  Some of the many questions you might be asking yourself are:

When is the right time for me to look?

How much can I afford?

How does the whole process work?

What happens if other buyers also want the home that I want?

Where do I find a reliable attorney, home inspector, mortgage lender, etc.?

The first stop for all of these questions, is a local Realtor®.  Whether you are looking for homes in Cranford, NJ or in Lincoln, NE or Makawao, HI, you always start with a Realtor®.

Of course, if you are BUYING a home, you don't want just any Realtor®, but one who is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®).  An ABR® is recognized by the National Association of Realtors® to have special training that benefits Buyers.  After all, the Seller is represented by the listing agent.  Wouldn't you want someone looking out for your best interests?
