Happy Holidays to all. With the New Year falling on a Thursday it provided some with the perfect opportunity to skip Friday and enjoy an extra long New Year's break. Here is a little guide to help you spend your 5 day Weekend Vegas Style!
Wednesday: New Year Eve in Vegas - So many options! For my money I'm paying the price to watch from the Stratosphere. If not then head down to either the party on the street or one of the nearest casinos. Just remember streets are closed at about 3pm so get where your going fast.
Thursday: New years Day - Obvious choice here is to get to one of your local sports books get some Hair of the Dog and watch a game. New Years Day is a big college football day, so expect large crowds and some decent discounts at the strip casinos.
Friday: 1st Friday - Rule of thumb any Friday is a good Friday in Vegas, 1st Friday is even better and the Friday after Thanksgiving is the best. So the first Friday of the New Year the Day after Jan 1st should be epic. Head downtown to check out the official First Friday festivities
Saturday: Fight Night - Nothing like Fight night in Las Vegas. UFC 182 visits the MGM Expect a star studded crowd to flock to Tropicana Ave
Sunday: Industry Night - While Sundays is a day to rest in most locations, in Vegas it is simply known as Industry Night. Head to the Gold Lounge at Aria for a quick drink then it's over to Body English to listen to the sounds of a world famous DJ.
It's not easy and is not for the faint of heart, but that's how you cap off your 5 day Vegas weekend. Hope you enjoy and happy Holidays to all.
