Everyone is anticipating the "GRAND OPENING" of the new Wegmans in Alexandria. Officals say that it will be sometime in late Winter to early Spring of 2015. This 126,000 square foot supermarket will have a bakery, cheese shop, mediterranean bar, complements shop, deli, florist shop, grocery, market cafe, meat shop, nature's marketplace, patisseire shop, pharmacy, prepared foods, pizza, old fashioned subs, fresh organic produce, seafood shop, sushi shop and a full service pub style restaurant.
The Pub by Wegmans will be the first restuarant in the local Washington Metro area that will have a restaurant with a full service bar with speciality beers, wines and cocktails.
Wegmans will also be opening a store in the following locations though the dates have been released:
- Charlottesville, VA (Albermarle County)
- Midlothian, VA (Chesterfield County)
- Short Pump, VA (Henrico County)
- Owings Mills, MD (Henrico County)
