Today as I was leaving the office, I noticed the price of gas at the station across the street. I did a double take! The price: $1.99 per gallon.

So of course I pulled into the station and filled up. It only cost me $23 to fill my tank today! I was very happy about it, but it made me think. When was the last time gas prices were so low?

After a little digging, it turns out that prices were less than $2/gallon in November, 2008. They've been on the rise and peaked after Hurricane Sandy, with some stations charging $4.50 or more per gallon. However they've been slowly falling for several months. I'm hopefull that they keep dropping!

Gas prices spiked about $.50/gallon for me simply by moving to a new state - I certainly miss filling up my tank in NJ and MD. I'm thrilled to see $2.50 here in CA!

NJ gas is less expensive but I saw it for $2.11 here in Central Florida today! Woo hoo. Hope it lasts.

I had a feeling that gas was going to go up from our new low of $1.71 this morning, but was too lazy to get out in the cold and fill up this morning. Sure enough the price had jumped up to $2.15 per gallon all over town except for my ace in the hole gas station that was still selling for $1.69. I waited for 30 minutes and filled up for $18!!!! It was worth it!

Gas prices are down in our area as well... and guess what we just bought a Tesla... LOL.... However we love the car and it is still a lot cheaper than gas...

A fill up for us was over $90 bucks and now a full charge is less that $4.00...

Hi folks, prices here are comparable to what you are paying We are usually a little cheaper here as the transportation cost is much lower. These gas prices are good news for consumers.
