Do You See Your Life And Career from a Weltanschauung Point of View?

Wheltanschauug

Wheltanschauung is a word not common to most people's nomenclature ( vocabulary). But while the word is not so common, it's meaning is. Most people in the US see life from a positive perspective, believing that life is robust in opportunities and that sharing life's bounties helps to bring that paying it forward full circle to it's origin.

From the many I have known here in the Rain, we are especially blessed with the kinds of people our network attracts. Reporting the positives of our lives and careers seems to be a strong common denominator here in the Rain.

Survey after survey, ActiveRain comes out on top as a unique force in the world that brings information, entertainment, community exposure and listing and market reports that aid the consumer in making decisions. That doesn't even begin to touch the effect this positiveness makes in each of our lives as we share the best of what we each know in hopes that others can benefit.

By our example, we indeed pay it forward and there is no uncertainty about those that do this in such outstanding and memorable ways. We also look out for each other and share our strengths to benefit others as we absorb the strengths of others to enhance our own lives.

Wheltanschauung, while not spoken of often or even well understood is most often practiced here in the Rain. It is about the spirit and life and I know of no where else to get better examples of this concept than here in the Rain. The ActiveRain family is a totally unique concept and it is the embracing of the Wheltanschauung world view of life that makes the difference.

You did a great job, in my opinion, of describing  what the Rain is all about.... however I still can not pronounce or spell Wheltanschauug but that doesn't change the fact that it's a good thing

Hi William,  I agree with Richard & Beth Witt .  You did a wonderful job.  I hope that more members peruse the guidelines and apply them in the months ahead.  It is nice to have a positive, uplifting community to jump into on a daily basis.

Most definitely William! We all have our very own world view, influenced by our upbringing, schools, travels .. it's when it remains a narrow view that doesn't allow for growth when it can become a problem.

Btw, you can break up the German word into Welt-an-schau-ung to make it easier to pronounce.

You are so right. It is not a common word (I won't even try to spell it!) Until I joined ActiveRain, I had never even heard of the word.

William Johnson - Coming from a German background and still speaking the language, it makes perfect sense to me. Although hard to voice. My Weltanschauing has always been positive, and I like to surround myself with people like that. Activerain members by and large are like that. It would be hard to get this heavy a dose every day from people I meet during the course of a business day. Life can be hard.
