With all the media would have us believe the sky is falling, I like to stick to the numbers.  Real estate is a very region specific market, and not everywhere has fallen off the map.  Seattle remains one of the hottest markets in the country.  The chart bellow shows home prices over the past four years.  Yes, prices have come down overall in the past few months, but still homeowners have seen a nice gain over this time period.  Not to mention this has been one of the most difficult markets any of us have seen in quite a while.  Interest rates remain low, so buyers now is the time to pounce.   It is going to be a great spring and summer to buy in Seattle.  Give me a call if you need help.
