My goodness It's Only A Phone Call A Day
It started back in 2006. Talking to members was the perfect connection while spending time in hospitals in Baltimore, New York or Boston.
It became a habit...talking to at least one AR member a day.
There is no rhyme or reason how I decide who to call. Sometimes it is an interesting blog topic. Sometimes it is a comment that is meaningful or maybe a different point of view. Sometimes it is to ask or answer a question. Sometimes I see a member who disagrees with a certain concept. Sometimes to congratulate or recognize or just say Happy Birthday. Sometimes it to reach out to a member in trouble or who is going through an illness or loss.
My goodness it's only a phone call.
Everyone who is a successful Active Rain member reaches out.
It may be a member who sponsors contests or highlights members weekly or monthly.
It may be the member who so freely shares technical ability, copyright infringement, marketing brilliance, tips on iPads or how to take better photography.
It may be the person who has started one of the numerous groups and consistently features those who participate.
It may be the member who writes to educate us about real estate or inspections or forestry or farms or floors or legal issues or education or staging.
It may be the person who shows us how to make our world better through their children or how to give back or how to handle a toxic client.
It may be a person who writes about motivation or pet friendly real estate or starting your own brokerage or helping a new Realtor.
It may be the member who shares recipes or just knows how to make us laugh with everyday humor.
How do you reach out?
