AR Weltanschauung; Sounds Intimidating but It’s Not
Weltanschauung: the guiding principles and philosophy of an organization; a world view.
The Weltanschauung, like the Community Guidelines are documents that I have heard rumors of and was told that I should read for the past few years and of course not being a rule book or instruction manual kind of guy I said "maybe later".
Though I said maybe later, I really meant never, I avoid instruction manuals and rule books and seldom dust them off unless I encounter a problem that I cannot solve on my own or by asking a friend.
Well Lynn Friedman forced me to dust off these documents this month and though I approached them kicking and screaming, I did eventually open them up and read them, finding that neither one was a bad as it seemed.
Weltanschauung, was the most intimidating, first of all because I could not pronounce it, second, German always seems to be a language for stern situations.
I am not sure if it is supposed to be a language for stern situations or if it was just that way in my family where some of the old folks had German phrases for times of scolding.
After opening this intimidating sounding document I found that it was not that intimidating, just a 10 item list, a Mission Statement or as they phrase it a World View.
And not intimidating at all.
A list of ideas on creating a community, a community of ideas, a community of learning, a community where all real estate people from different franchises and areas could come together to share, vent, teach and learn.
And become a family of friends.
As I said in my post on the community guidelines, thanks to the Architects of this great project, you did a great job.
Perhaps it's time to work on the Weltanschauung for Woodland Management Service
