Both Success and Inaction Comes With a Price

“We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of

discipline or the pain of regret. The difference

is discipline weights ounces while

regret weights tons.”

Jim Rohn 1930 – 2009 , American Entrepreneur,

Self-Author, Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Both success and inaction comes with a price

Success and inaction . . . . both come with a price.

Inaction . . . . is making the decision to procrastinate.

Procrastination is making . . . . a choice.

The choice that’s made is . . . . is the choice inaction which is to take the action is choosing not to act. The price of inaction is enormous. It is carried forward in the form of pain in living a life of regret for the things that you did not do . . . . and in lost opportunities.

Taking action takes self-confidence in your decision making . . . . and in your abilities. You also have to have the mental discipline to take calculated risks . . .  and to make choices.

In taking action some of your choices will create breakthrough opportunities in your life . . . . While others may have little or no impact . . . . And there will be some that you would like to forget about.

Failing to take action . . . . subordinates the choice to someone else to make the choices for you. You will lose the ability to make your choices and to choose your actions.

When it’s time to take action you have to step up . . . . and take the best actions possible in the conditions that you find yourself in.

The pain of regret for your inaction is carried forward . . . . and can become emotionally drain in your thinking and on your energy. The discipline to succeed . . . . is making choices . . . .

Taking action has a price . . . . but there is peace of mind in knowing that we’re in control of your choices . . . . your actions . . . . your results . . . . and in your future.

Both success and inaction comes with a price . . . . The price to succeed is paid from in advance  . . . . and then you enjoy the benefits of your success. The price of inaction is enormous  and is paid for over a lifetime . . . .

Good morning Roy. No matter how many times I read Rohn's quote, I appreciate it even more. Great choice for a re-blog.

Great choice to reblog, Roy.  Everything comes with a price, and it's important we understand what it will cost us!

I think it pertains to real estate agents especially as we are the ones with the imagination and freedom to try so many new and original ideas.  We have to be ready to act and capture the opportunities out there.
