What an adventure this first 100 days has been! I would like to introduce myself. I am Karin Bearnarth, and I am new to Real Estate. It was only two years ago when I worked solely as a wedding planner in Breckenridge, CO. Working with new brides and grooms gave me great satisfaction. However, I always felt a sense of loss when the families that I had been working with for a year or more, suddenly were out of my life and onto their “happily ever after”.
Now, to my delight, going into real estate has proven to be the perfect vehicle to continue my relationship with my past clients.
The transition was not easy. However, I was lucky enough to have a family friend, Gary Lohman, reached out to me. He has been in real estate for almost 40 years, and he welcomed me with open arms to the Colorado Dream House Team. He told me right upfront that I was about to join a very close group of people whom each considers themselves a part of a family. He was right… when I arrived at the office on my first day to smiles, hugs and questions about how the previous day and the night went, I felt like a family member. It is an authentic and genuinely caring atmosphere that sets the stage for an active and successful work day.
The Colorado Dream House Team is part of the Keller Williams Realty DTC. It was a bit daunting at first when I realized that there were 432 agents in that office alone. My fears quickly vanished when I attended the first Keller Williams DTC meeting. There was a portion of the meeting that was dedicated to inviting some of the agents up on stage to talk about their current listings. I was in awe of my peers as they spoke about the many positive experiences working with a variety of buyers. I became instantly excited about all the of the networking and deals happening all around me.
So, my newlywed clients, some starting families, have reached out to me, and I am lucky to be helping them into a home... I planned over 72 weddings in the past two years and will now be helping them find a new home in 2015. Maybe your home will be the Dream House for one of these lucky couples?
Now that my new adventure has begun, I am looking forward to visiting with you to see how we might be able to work together, as it would be my pleasure to serve you!
