The real question here is how visible is your current website?
Do the search engines think it’s important enough to index
There is a really easy way to tell and the best part is that it isn’t that technical. You can even check on
the effectiveness of your competitors. Every website has a grade to it. This is created over a number
of reasons including keywords that are used and how often you use them. There are other factors like
where things are placed on your site and how much time it takes to load.
I’ll keep it fairly simple though for now…..
You can go to:
And then you go to: Meta Tag Analyzer

Type in your website and the special 4 digit extension and hit - SUBMIT.
From there this tool will grade your website and let you know where you stand. Anything
that turns up green is relatively good. Anything that pops up that is red is bad and needs
attention. This should be used as a rough guideline and will give you a general idea on
where you are overall. I see a lot of websites come up on here with a 57% overall rating.
The majority of most websites fall in the 40% range.
Ideally you want anything over 75%. If you really know how to build your pages correctly
you should fall in somewhere between 85% to 95%. When you start to get your pages
ranked in this area you are pretty solid and can expect that your web pages will stay
ranked high for many weeks, months and years to come. This is not the only criteria that
makes a website great or well favored in Google’s eyes but it does have something to do
with it.
Hit Submit
GREEN = Anything green is considered OK
RED = Anything in red is considered dangerous
This tool allows you to see how your competitors rank too. It gives you an idea of what how you look through Google's eyes.
