When You Least Expect a Miracle

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Without going all woo-woo on you, let me say that sometimes things happen out of the blue at exactly the right time, and you might wonder why. I know I do when it happens. Like money showing up out of nowhere just when you need it. Have you ever had that happen because I surely have. I recall years ago worrying about where I would find a big chunk of change for something unexpected and, lo and behold, a fat check for a class action settlement (of which I was unaware) showed up in my mailbox. These kinds of things happen in my life.

This morning, I got up feeling like I don't want to return to reality and find myself back in Sacramento from my month-long vacation. I've so completely enjoyed the unwinding and relaxation in the islands, that I'm not ready to do an about-face. Not only that, but I'm a bit sleepy, when whoa, right there in my WordPress I found a draft of a blog from 18 months ago that I never published. Linked up and ready to be published but for some reason had been forgotten. How lucky is that? Even luckier, it still applies to my business right now in Sacramento real estate. So I published it, and you can read it at No Guarantees in Sacramento Real Estate for a Seller.

I'm feeling a bit sleepy too Elizabeth.  The grindstone is calling... but I really want a 2nd cup of Joe first ;-)  Happy New Year Kiddo!

And, that is the spiritual element about travel that I was talking about the other day!  The little unexpected things that give you pause, and make you wonder!  It happens to me far more when I'm on the road, than ever happens at home!

And a very good post for sellers. I usually find I need a vacation after the vacation to get caught up on sleeep from travel.

Melinda (Mel) Peterson Happy New Year to you, too, Kiddo! I'm finding things are starting off with a bang, which is much better than last year at this time.

Myrl Jeffcoat I will call you later today. I have another mission for Agent Myrl. :)

Tammie White I do need a vacation from my vacation wind-down, which is what Molokai is supposed to be, but I suspect I'll need a few more days just to adjust to the time zone change if nothing else.

There certainly are no guarantees in real estate, but having an agent like you on their side, Sacramento buyers and sellers will get through the unexpected twists and turns.  It's kind of like white water rafting with an expert guide.

Nothing in this crazy business is final until the last paper is signed and the check is deposited.
