Hi All,

More and more we are seeing a huge refinance market opening up in 2007.  This is one that should continue for some time as short term notes reach their adjustable points and option arm clients get hit hard with adjustments.

Unfortunately, I am also seeing borrowers on the verge of losing their homes because they were poorly informed, badly misrepresented or both when it came time to purchase their home by both loan officers and real estate agents.

It is incredibly important that as a group we come together and hold ourselves to a much higher standard, even above that to which the consumer would hold us to.  Most professionals I know take the time to associate with affiliates that offer in-depth counseling, informing the buyer rather than pushing them in a given direction.   More time, better listening - allowing the buyer to make informed decisions based on facts, this is our job and our responsibility.

Have fun with this, it is always a pleasure to help someone buy a home - or keep it.

Take care,

John
