We had a few thunder clouds come through the other day and I wanted to share a bit of the beauty that still exists during a storm!

The storm didn't get too far out of control; followed by a little bit of sunshine coming through the clouds.

Lake Lowell Nampa, Idaho

This is Lake Lowell in south-west Nampa, Idaho...Lots of recreation: Fishing, boating, swimming, Submarine Races.  The lake and the surrounding area is pretty much designated as a wildlife refuge, however there are a few homes around the lake.

The Treasure Valley area gets pretty brown through the winter and has a "high-desert" look and feel with a dry atmosphere.  When we get a little more moisture and a little more sunshine, this Spring and Summer gets green and gorgeous!  Just wait for my upcoming Photos.

Love the abandoned farm photo - what a story that could be told from that picture. Wouldn't you love to know the history of the barn? the windmill? was there a house? You could weave a whole family history from that one photo - thanks for sharing!

Jesse & Kathy:  Thank you!  I think that is my favorite too!  I was amazed when I came across it & drove down this long canal road to get to it!  Fun stuff!  Thanks for looking!

Debbie: I said something very similar to my assistant when we found this place!  What a story we could have if that shack could talk!

I used to have some friends that lived in Boise and I visited them frequently.  Very attractive place...
