It Is Still Unseasonably COLD Here In Florida!

It is still unseasonable COLD down here in Florida. Perhaps if I was up in northern Florida, it wouldn't bother me that it is cold BUT I live on the Gulf Coast down in the middle of the state!

We went to the farmer's market in downtown St Petersburg this morning and as you can see from the photo, I was freezing certain body parts off! The high today is going to be 60 (that is what it is now - at 3 in the afternoon) but we left the house a little after 9 this morning and it was 45 degrees! This is crazy cold!

Barbara-Jo - I know it gets cold in Florida but it is relative.  We are in the teens here in New York.

I am not feeling sorry for you. I showed houses today and it is 7 degrees. The house was a foreclosure, winterized so no heat.

Hi, Barbara-Jo...I hope you warm up soon. We are having a fairly mild January for our area. I'm enjoying daytime highs in the mids.

But it sure is good sleeping weather when it gets cold, isn't it!? And it's nice to be outside doing things and not get sweaty, haha.

Yeah it is certainly nothing to complain about as our poor neighbors up north are deep in snow in many areas, but call me a wimp, but I was exercising this morning in sweats.

Good morning Barbara-Jo. We have many friends that now live in Florida, they are all complaining, but I remind them about the temperatures in the Northeast.

Back to 70 deg. this morning as I write this, Barbara-Jo.  It's a good thing that these cold snaps don't last very long.

Seems like much of the country is experiencing unseasonable cold. We had some a couple of weeks ago but more recently it has been a little warmed than usual. And today we are getting some badly-needed rain

Is that a jacket I see you wearing? LOL, it's colder there than here right now... LOL, it's the wind there that makes it feel so cold, 45 here is nice, no wind, very warm sun cause we are at 5500 feet elevation and protected by a mountain range on the east side. Maybe you should move to a tropical location...
