Curb appeal is an important factor in marketing a home to sell. Curb appeal is what people or a potential buyer notice about the home upon first appearance or driving by. You will want your house to have plenty of good curb appeal so that it stands out from the rest. Your house needs to "Snap" and make a visual statement "look at me" Let's talk about some tips for creating positive curb appeal.
- Remove any junk and clutter in your yard, porches, or other obvious highly noticeable areas. People in general don't want to look at a home that looks like a junkyard.
- Pay attention to your yard and landscaping, lawn care, weeding, trim overgrown bushes, trees, etc. Add some seasonal plants and flowers in pots or in the garden beds for color.
- The front entrance area is particularly important. You want your home to be welcoming and inviting. Make sure your front door is attractive and in good condition (no peeling paint, etc) If you have paths, walks, for access to your front door, make sure they are clean and in good safe condition.
- Make sure your windows are in good repair and none broken. Keep windows clean and sparkling.
These are just a few things you can do to enhance your homes curb appeal factor. You need your house to be the one buyers notice and want to see. You need it to stand out from the crowd.

Curb Appeal ? What's that ? ...to most sellers. Love the first picture. I think it needs a sofa and a washer and dryer to complete the look. I suppose using some pictures like this could be useful in explaining curb appeal. We could use the same terminlogy for the yard....declutter it.
