Today I was working with some artwork on my computer trying to change it and after several attempts and time wasted, I realized I was not going to be able to accomplish the task I needed to do. I know there is some little something I am lacking. One push of a key would most likely make the difference and allow my changes to occur.
I often run into this situation as I am not that computer savvy. Many times it is only one button I need to push that opens a program (a door) and allows me to go forward. How interesting it is to make this comparison in our lives and in our real estate careers.
Oftentimes, a button is pushed and it is that difference that spurs us to make changes. Have you experienced that? Why wait for someone else to push your buttons? Learn to push your own buttons. It can be very motivating when you learn what it is that makes you move. When we control ourselves, we win all the races.
It is not others that hold us back, it is our own selves.
Time spent pondering these questions is not time wasted but time invested.
