Just when we thought things couldn't get tighter with inventory, Los Gatos has gone and done it! And Los Gatos is not alone...all of Santa Clara county is lacking inventory as well. Actually, lacking is putting it mildly!! Los Gatos currently has 43 active listings (this includes single family homes, townhouses, and condos), compared to 73 active listings this time last year!! Santa Clara County is down from last year's 1159 active listings to 703 current active listings! That's approximately 40% down!
With interest rates forcasted to go up by year end, buyers will want to jump on the opportunity to take advantage of low interest rates while they last.
