White Lake Cardboard Boat
Races for Cancer Charities
One of my clients that is a girl scout leader had on one of her online profiles this little statement. "Trying to change the world one little bit at a time from southeastern Michigan." It is so true. Most of us are not world leaders or Mother Theresa, but we can make the world a little better place. This is my way of trying to make the world a little better place.
Come support the cancer fight and be part of this fun filled day at the White Lake Inn on July 19, 2014. Our goal is to make as much money as possible for cancer charities to fight all forms of cancer. So gather a crew and build a cardboard boat. We are encouraging you to dress up, be wacky, and have some fun.
We are going to have different races for age groups especially for the kids. The race course is going to be in front of the White Lake Inn and is going to be a semi circle course about 200 yards long.

I lost my wife to breast cancer in 2010 after a 22 year battle. I have had friends that have lost their lives from brain cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and multiple mylomia. It is devastating to the families to lose their loved one. But the worst is children with cancer. I would go with my wife to some cancer treatments and to see the young children with shaved heads was heart breaking. If you and I can help the cause of speeding up the cure for cancer then that would be great.
So send a check for the fight against cancer whether you are racing or not. You make a difference.
This event is put on by the White Lake Inn and myself, Russ Ravary your lakes area realtor.
