I love the whole concept of a conservatory.  I also love it in home, and I have seen done effectively with plantings, etc.  The Longwood conservatory is inspiring.  There is a restaurant in Paris (a favorite) where they found the conservatory as they were remodeling many moons ago.  All the glass work was Art Nouveau and intact.  They went through several layers of dry wall and linoleum to find what was originally there.  A

Longwood seems like an amazing place to visit. I love conservatories primarily because of the humidity and the micro-climate they create. We don't have much use for them here in Hawaii for obvious reasons but we do have them and they are particularly advantageous for Orchid cultivation. Thanks for sharing.
