Skiing for Schools 2015 is underway right now, and ten Tahoe-area resorts are offering special deals. The rates run from January 4 through to at least April 6. Proceeds from ticket purchases directly benefit the Excellence in Education Foundation, providing our students with enhanced educational opportunities. Here's a look at this year's lineup:
- January 4-9. Homewood. $40 lift tickets.
- January 11-16. Tahoe Donner Down Hill. $30 lift tickets.
- January 25 - 30. Sugar Bowl. $4 lift tickets. Use SugarBowl75 promo code.
- January 25-30. Tahoe Cross Country. $15 trail passes.
- February 1-6. Northstar. $60 lift tickets.
- March 1-6. Royal Gorge. $15 trail passes.
- March 15-20. Tahoe Donner Cross Country. $15 trail passes.
- March 15-30. Tahoe Donner Down Hill. $30 lift tickets.
- March 29-April 3. Sugar Bowl. $40 lift tickets.
- April 6-End of Season. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows. $40 lift tickets.
Note: all trail passes or lift tickets are valid for any one day, during the dates listed above. Tickets must be purchased in advance, the week prior to the beginning of the periods listed. Most tickets can be purchased online at http://exined.ltibooking.com/#all, while some may be bought at Tahoe Dave's, or at Paco's in Truckee or Alpenglow.
