In the December 2014 Daytona Beach Condo Market Report, Daytona Beachside condo sales stalled slightly as a busy year filled with record high months drew to an end. But our expert says there’s no reason to worry, because 2014 was filled with real estate successes and 2015 promises more good news. Search all condos for sale in the Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach areas.

An analysis by The Wyse Condo Team at Keller-Williams Realty in Port Orange, FL, shows condo sales slowed in the Daytona Beachside area to close out 2014.  

According to the Daytona Beach Multiple Listing Service (MLS), condo sales at 45 of the 66 most-popular beachfront condos from Daytona Beach to Ponce Inlet showed higher average sales prices in the past 12 months than the same time period a year earlier.

MLS data indicates 51 condos sold on Daytona’s beachside in December 2014 with an average sales price of $224,890. In December 2013, 55 condos sold on the beachside for an average price of $225,624.

“December is historically a slower month for beachside condo sales, as families and snowbirds are focused more on the holiday season and less on purchasing condos,” said Ron Wysocarski, leader of The Wyse Condo Team and The Wyse Home Team at Keller-Williams Realty in Port Orange. 

“Despite the frigid numbers to end the year, I’m very impressed by the beachside condo market’s overall performance in 2014,” Wysocarski said. “Most months saw an increased number of condo sales, a higher than average sales price and the luxury condo market rebounded in a major way over the course of the past 12 months."

According to Daytona Beach MLS data obtained for this December 2014 Daytona Beach Condo Market Report

  • In October 2014, the average condo sales price was $233,735, and
  • In November 2014, the average condo sales price was $277,048, and
  • In December 2014, the average condo sales price was $224,890.

The highlights of the December 2014 Daytona Beach Condo Market Report in the Halifax area include these condo sales: 

  • A $625,000 condo sale at the Ocean Vistas condos in Daytona Beach Shores on 12/17,
  • A $487,900 condo sale at the M.G. on the Halifax condos in Holly Hill on 12/19,
  • A $415,000 condo sale at the Grand Coquina condos in Daytona Beach Shores on 12/12, and
  • A $400,000 condo sale at the Towers Six condos in Ponce Inlet on 12/1.

more than 30 years ago Ron Wysocarski , my family used to travel from Nashville to Daytona Beach 2-3 times a year.  My own family and I went there about 2 years ago and WHAT A CHANGE!
