Dustin, what a great tutorial. Too bad we didn't have that before the contest. I have seen many videos on RE and you are right, they are mostly TOO long and Boring. I can't imagine a consumer watching a 10 plus minute video on a house tour, when they are use to 60 sec VT. Now IF they liked that particular home and there was a longer video I'm sure that they would watch the WHOLE thing, but only if they had already been grabbed my the VT. I like the viral part of this and how to spread the word.  Good fine !

Okay...that's the "Andromeda Strain" of viral!  My eyes! My eyes!  Were there subliminal messages in that video?  ...I have a strong urge to contact the producers of that video and pay them LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of money!

Hi Dustin!  :  )

Debra: There's definitely a few pieces of raw footage in that video.  :)

Missy: I don't think anyone really expects a real estate video to go completely viral, but it is fun to think outside the box (or should I say the "Rain") about the potential for videos to reach an incredibly huge audience!

Sarah, Karen, Toby, and Frank: Definitely fun stuff!  I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Deborah: I'm thinking something similar... Maybe they had a subliminal message to repost their video!  ;)

Well now...I now have a few ideas.

I totally think a real estate recruiting video can be viral.

I've got some planning to do.  Thanks for the tips.  I really enjoyed this.

Wow Great Video - I'm going to have to send that link to everyone I know ;)

Does anyone have good examples of real estate videos that have gone viral? I think the Real Estate Zebra videos have and I would guess that most folks have seen 1000 Watts "I am not a lead". Are there others we should know about?

You mention two great videos, but I'd say that neither of those really went viral outside of the RE.net community.

In many ways, you have to look to the bubble bloggers to see real estate videos gone viral... The roller coaster video for example has almost 300,000 views  (The Zebra video is just under 11,000 by comparison).   Or better yet, the Kramer rant has 1,600,000 views!!!
