The Hudson River in Winter

By
Industry Observer

Living in Orange County New York

Charming but cold, living on the Hudson River has some amazing views. Constantly in motion, the tide changes direction a couple times a day. Winer brings with it a different feature in that ice floats on the river. Watching the ice float up the river and down is a great pasttime of those with views from their homes. Such beautiful scenery and we do have winter. The temperature was 10 degrees last night. OMG I could use some warm weather about now.

COLD is not for wimps, it is for the birds!

Hudson River in January Newburgh NY

Condos in the Hudson Valley

Why not live down the street from the Newburgh Waterfront. Condos with river views can be from three different locations. Ferry Crossing, Pier Loun and Plum Point are all on the Hudson River boasting fabulous views year round. Trust me when I say it is mesmerizing to watch the river and her quirky ways. My office was near this doc a couple of years ago. Needless to say I went to the office as much as possible to partake in the views.

The condos vary in price and begin under $150K for a condo on the water. Maintenance free living at its best. Enjoy living close to the Newburgh Beacon Bridge for an easy commute and remain minutes from the countryside. The best of both worlds right at your fingertips. If you are ready to condo shop on the water, or just want to know more about the Hudson River, give me a call.  845-527-7115.

I am hoping to see you next week Debbie Gartner for the meetup. It depends on the weather and a closing I have. If not yours, maybe at Dagny Eason

Yes Roger D. Mucci you are a tad odd, but someone has to love winter, cold and ice. You can have all of mine. I'll take your share of the warm weather.

Janis -- the short winters is a big reason why we ended up moving south!

Lovely photograph, Janis. But it does look very cold.  I don't think I could survive cold like that anymore.

Thanks Toni Weidman today we have freezing rain. Most things stopped happening today due to the ice on the ground. It is actually worse than snow.

I know the winters are long up here Janis but you know, we have had a really easy one so far this winter, although a storm is brewing for the weekend.  But I love the 4 seasons and I can still tolerate the cold so I am not moving south just yet!
