A tale of two markets

Anyone following the recent market studies I posted on this blog is aware of one thing -- what is selling in in the coastal subareas of Allegan County and what is on offer are in two different price ranges.  For instance, in H23 (Saugatuck, Douglas, Saugatuck Twp, and a small slice of Manlius Twp) in Dec the median residential sold price was $170,889, but the median of residential listed prices was $319,000.  Same thing was true for other subareas in December and in November.

What does this suggest?  There is a shortage of the properties people are willing to buy.  So if your house is in a moderate price range, now might be a good time to get the best deal when you sell.  Call me at 616-836-8535 and let's talk about it.  My marketing system gets houses sold, and I can tell you about that, too.
