Are Short sales driving you crazy? my hat is off to short sales experts, getting the banks to cooperate for me is really difficult and time demanding.  With All the buyers competing for theforeclosures and short sale homes, I have found with my clients that the new home communities are a better value then the REO's. What do you think?

Haven't had much luck with short sales but my wife sells new homes and they are a bargain at the moment.

all I have been selling is new homes! you can get a a 2700 sq ft home in the SW for $252,990

BINGO Steve.  Sometimes I think we think the same!  It has been new construction all the way after dabbling in that REO market!  Short sales my buyers have avoided after I explain them the process.

New home sales are often better but there is not as much selection in my area, Ventura County, CA as some other areas of the country.  The fortunate part is those that are available pay a coop fee--something that was rare here when the market is hotter.

I hear ya joe..day will come in las vegas where it will be the same situation as California where it will all be resales
