If you're young enough to ask the question "What is a broken record?" you'll have to forgive me.
I'm starting to sound like a broken record when I tell you that Active Rain relationships result in real business!
The most recent referral came this weekend, from Kent Simpson. Kent wrote about it yesterday in his blog: Active Rain Works - Case In Point.
When the potential client called me on Sunday afternoon, he apologized, and said he had forgotten my last name, but he remembered that Kent said "Mike in Tucson." He googled that, and found my Active Rain profile and blog posts on the very first google page.
When I called Kent to thank him for the referral, he said "I have another one for you!" She'll call you tomorrow. WOW!
Another case in point: an Active Rain member, Sandy Bauman in Chico, CA, has listed $1,400,000 in Chico properties because she answered an Active Rain Referral that I posted last fall. The first listing is in escrow, and another has an offer pending. My retired Tucson clients (the sellers) were so impressed with Sandy's performance on the first listing (at $550,000) that they listed all their other Chico properties with her.
