Peer Relationships Matter, Take a Few Moments to Get Noticed
Working well with the peers in your industry is good for your business. I know in real estate that I like doing business with real estate agents that I have had a pleasant transaction with, or have a professional image or a just enjoyable people.
What if you let them know that you want to do more business with them this year? Could it increase the chances of more showings, more offers and smoother transactions? Could it get the offers you write on their listings more consideration? Maybe but it sure won't hurt.
Here's how:
Determine a number of agents in your area that you would like to do business with in 2015. Now hand-write a personal note to each one telling them something you admire about them and stating you would like the opportunity to do business with them this year. Include a business card and mail it.
My predictions are that you will get more business and develop some additional business relationships you didn't have before. We all like to be given a compliment but not many of us take the time to put it in writing.
