I Realize That You Did It Yourself,
But The Wires Should Be Inside The Box
There is nothing wrong with a little do-it-yourself project on your own home, but you need to know what you are doing. Just because the fan works doesn't mean it is safe or even a good idea.
This exhaust fan stopped working buit would start up if you pushed up. The wires had worked their way loose, that's when I discovered the wires weren't even in the box like it should be. The owners had done the work themselves.
