Steamboat Springs snow arrived as only a dusting this morning, but the day was glorious for a snowshoe with our friends from Grand Junction. Steamboat real estate sales for this past week were reported by the Steamboat Pilot to be 13 closed transactions for $6,854,500. Of those closed Steamboat real estate transactions, 5 were single family, 5 were condo/townhome, 3 were lot/land, and there were no commercial/industrial closed sales.
The Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors MLS reports 95 pending sales with a pending dollar volume of $52,793,140. The average pending sale price is $555,717 and the median is $299,350. Of the current pending Steamboat area sales, 12% are pending with a list price of over $1 million, 4% are pending between $999,000 and $800k, 9% are between $799k and $600k, 18% are between $599,000 and $400k, 7% are pending in the $300,000s and 49% are pending with a list price under $300,000. Also interesting to note, 46% of the pending transactions are condo/townhomes, 28% are single family homes, 13% are lot/land, 7% are commercial/industrial, and 4% are fractional pending sales.
