Eating Healthy Includes Italian Baked Chicken
This month the TV, Internet and Radio has bombarded us with diet tips and what to eat and not to eat.
Well, I am eating less carbs and no sugar. Chicken is my favorite food so tonight we had delicious baked chicken. This recipe is simple and the way my mom used to cook when she gave up frying foods.
Italian Baked Chicken
Fresh Chicken Legs (12)
LiteHouse Tuscan Herb with Lemon Dressing (in dairy section)
Directions: Put the chicken in a bowl and cover with dressing for several hours. Drain dressing from bowl and discard. Line large cookie pan with foil and lay out drumsticks. Bake at 350 degrees and cover with foil for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue cooking for 30 more minutes. Check to make sure chicken is fully cooked. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Chicken is delicious and meat is just a little tangy. I served it with a green salad made of baby spinich leaves, tomatoes, onions, baby carrots, and tossed it with Tuscan Herb and Lemon Dressing.
