Those Rocks Help Us Walk in the Rain.

Growing up in Houston, I knew that I could count on two things:  there would be a lot of Walking in the Rianrainy days and there was always construction going on somewhere.

Sometimes navigating around in the rain necessitated walking on stones or boards that had been  laid there by the builder to create a path for those who tried to journey across rain-soaked grass and mud.

I came to rely on them to keep me from getting stuck in the mud, going off path or ending up totally soaked.

So, where are you going with this?

It is very much like that as we navigate the rain here.  There are the stone and boards, such as Lenn Harley , Pat Kennedy , Liz ande Bill Spear , Dick Greenberg, Roy Kelley, Anna Banana Kruchten , Barbara Todaro, Lou Ludwid , and of course, Roger Mucci.

And so many more whom we’ve come to expect  to see here every day.

They help us navigate this thing called blogging….. they impart their wisdom on industry topics…..help to keep us smiling and not take things too seriously…. and they help to keep us from slipping in the Rain and getting off our path.

When one of those rocks is missing, we notice it.  We have come to depend on their presence to give us a sure footing here.

Such was the case recently when Dick Greenberg  issued an MIA on Suzanne McLaughlin   He encouraged members to “drop her a note or give her a call.”

Well, guess what?
