Ringing and Singing in the Rain with Yolanda Gilbert

Debbie Reynolds is hosting a fabulous contest this month. The challenge is to call another ActiveRain member, and then write about your conversation. The contest is named Ringing and Singing in the Rain - An ActiveRain Challenge.


May I introduce to you Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert. Yolanda has lived in Katy, Texas since 1999. She married Robert (Bob) Gilbert, and they married in 1998. Yolanda and Bob married on their one year anniversary. They met as they worked together previously. Yolanda works in new home sales and Bob sells residential re-sales.

Yolanda works for David Weekly Homes in Katy and you will often read her posts about the homes. Yolanda is passionate about the homes she sells, and this message comes through with her writing. Yolanda has her BBA in Accounting from Texas A & M, and she has her Masters in Business Administration. And Yolanda is fluent in Spanish.

Yolanda has many passions in life, and they include wine. Yolanda also enjoys reading. And she loves travel. Be sure to read some of Yolanda's posts about where she travels. Recently, Yolanda and Bob went to New York City before the Christmas holiday. And they are leaving for Paris tomorrow, and they are planning on visiting London when they are there. Enjoy Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert, and will look forward to reading about your trip and seeing the photos.

I asked her about her favorite trip, and she had to think a moment, but then told me of a trip to Costa Rica, where she just wanted to stay and relax and enjoy her surroundings. And she truly relaxed on this trip.

Yolanda loves sports, and her favorite Football Team is the Cincinnati Bengals. And her ALL TIME favorite basketball team is San Antonio Spurs!

Yolanda and Bob are planning a trip to LA in April, and I will look forward to meeting her and Bob! That will be a fun meet up!

I so enjoyed our conversation, and will definitely be calling her for travel advice!! And wine too!
