Another Realtor Shot

By
Industry Observer

California Real Estate mogul Kameron Segal was shot Friday night just off the famous Sunset Blvd. He was on his way to close a 5 million dollar deal. The person of interest in the case is a person riding a bike. Many are wondering if it was random or if Segal was specifically targeted. He is expected to make a full recovery. To some closing a 5 million dollar deal around 10:00 on a Friday may seem weird but I have stayed until 9:30 a couple of times to close a 350K dollar deal once even on New Year’s Eve so yes that part does not sound bizarre to me. It will be interesting to see what is discovered during the investigation. Just remember no matter what safety first.

I didn't know about this, Yolanda.  Now, I am curious if this was just a random act or something even more sinister.

I saw this on the news, and understand he was sitting in his car, and the gun man was on a bike . . . so very odd, and so glad he will make a full recovery.

It is scary what can happen in an instant, and they will probably never find the guy.  Luckily, he didn't die right then and there.

My prayers goes out to him and his family, hoping he has a full recovery. Sadly, we are living in a different era where the lives of others are not cherished. This is another example why we as real estate professionals must keep safety in mind and at the forefront.

There was a Realtor held captive for over an hour by a registered sex offender in a KB model home office in Northern California but luckily she escaped from him safely.
