Here is something I hear quite often when I go out to meetings. "Google+ has never done nothing for me..... do you like it?". The answer is that I like it and for me it goes way beyond the Facebook comparison. To me Google+ is not just a clone of Facebook and it is actually a usefull.
Theres code in your Google+ page that can really help you boost your rankings. You need to insert this into your web pages. Google will like it if you do. You can get access to it in the backend office of each Google+ page. Just grab and copy it and put it in your web page code. I like to put mind on the bottom of the page. You will notice that you did it correctly when the little (Google+) type appears on the page like in this graphic.

Each Google+ page can have a theme to it. The theme can be relevant to the particular page you attach it to. Now there are no hardset rules here on how you can connect these pages to your actual web pages. That being said you can create about 100 Google+ pages for every Google account you create. The mathmatical combinations are in the millions. You can really niche this out by county, neighborhood, new buyers, fix and flip properties, investors, investments.... and so on.
As with any new tool set be mindful not to do anything spammy. As long as you create solid content you should be alright. You can even add multiple Google+ codes from multiple pages onto the same page as long as the content is relevant.
