Green should be a new color for realtors

I started researching and writing about energy efficiency before the prices went through the roof. Maybe it started when my customers aksed me how energy prices were....or when I pay my bills. Last year I started  writing newsletters that I send out by emails mostly to my customers, firemds etc about energy. The first was where to go to get an energy audit....you'all know what that is?  It is like a home inspector but the go through a house and point out all the places that could be made more secure so you could cpontrol your bills (as much as 30%). I actually think a smart home buyer would do this when they have a home inspector.  I also sent it ut to y local realtors who quite frankly couldn't be less interested.

Nonetheless Icontinue...people love the information, it is timely and it is improtat information we as realtors can give people when they buy a home.  Any thoughts?

Green is a big buzz word right now.  Maybe have a green inspection, done, but you can't use it to have the sellers fix something...
