In 1949, Shirley Highway had just been completed. This video shows a side by side comparison of I-395 today and Shirley Highway back in 1949. The video begins not far from the present-day location of the Isabella at Monticello Mews. It’s interesting to see the changes at Edsall Road, Landmark Mall and Seminary Road.

I think I liked it better in 1949! Just my opinion we are in your area but fixing to leave just a short layover is Dulles.
Will there is nothing better than getting around town with less stress and easy commutes.

Wow, that's really neat Will. About the only improvement I see is that the camera is steadier in 2014 than in 1949.
