$20 Equals New Buyer Client NOW!

We spent about $20 bucks and got an instant Buyer.  We actually had about 3 buyers come through.  One of my agents took them out looking for homes but forgot to get their name.  The other buyer already had an agent.  BUT...we have one solid buyer.  We just did this for the first time and are looking forward to making it better.

BUYERS COMING TO YOUR DOOR STEP:

We never do open houses unless we can make it beneficial. We found a way to make it beneficial.  We have 2 agents in the open house with internet. That way we can look up homes and make phone calls. We arent there to socialize or wait for something to happen.  We work.  That is the first rule.  Next, we have a list of foreclosures, short sales, defaults in the area with our card and info attached to it.  Now for the most important part.....We hired a kid to hold a sign that said FREE LIST OF FORECLOSURES.  People came to our open house even if they werent interested in the home.  We were going to give them something that peaked their interest.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:

We actually took them out and showed them some of the foreclosures.  I put an offer on a home.  (My other agent showed homes but forgot to get the peoples phone number.  Dont you ever do that.  My saying is this "Chicken feet belong in soup....not in real estate."  Have you ever eaten chicken foot soup? My friends from the dirty south know what Im talking about...yum.

Good luck to you. Great way to generate a buyer this week!

Wow, what at smart idea!  We have to pull out all of the stops right now, Susan is right, thinking outside the box!!

That's a great idea.  Open houses usually don't work around here, but I may have to try your approach!

I like the thinking outside the box. Many people are looking for steals in this market and foreclosures is a sure-fire way to get them in the door.

I like it!  Looking forward to reading some archived material!  By the way, thanks for the comment on my blog yesterday.  I made the change to my website NorthernUtahHomes.com as you suggested (definitely want to be in compliance), Thank You.  As for keeping leads in-house, you're absolutely right and that's definitely underway.

Keep up the good work!

What a great idea!!! How many of you were hosting an open house?

You are welcome.  We had 2 people at the open house.  Because if someone wanted to see foreclosures right than....they would go and show the person....it worked perfect.  Instead of someone coming to the open house....and leaving..while you stay there. You might just lose the lead.

Sounds like a different way to go about it but your associate needs to have his feet put in hot soup.
