Green seems to be the popular color these days. Green is def. the new black! What is all this talk about green? No, it's not St. Patrick's Day, it's actually Earth Day. Sunday, April 20th in Downtown Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge will host it's Earth Day. The festival should be a lot of fun with music on four stages and good food.

It's very important that we help each other become more aware of going green. Whole Foods in Baton Rouge is one way to start going green. Whole Foods will be putting together a video podcast series for Earth Day. The store will also offer a "Green Your Home"program during April. This is where we can learn the benefits of making our home more eco-friendly.

So, who is sponsoring this wonderful "Earth Day"?o It will be sponsored by the East Baton Rouge Recycling Office. "Earth Day" will include public information and activities about recycling, landfills, surface water, electronic recycling, computer refurbishing, florescent lamp recycling, composting and organic recycling.
