Denver Center for the Performing Arts - Denver - What's Playing?
Denver has an Arts Complex in the heart of downtown known as the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. In this 4 block, 12-acre sight, you will find 6 facilities for Broadway theatre shows, music & dance.
The construction began on this complex in December 1974 and Boettcher was the first to open in March of 1978. Interestingly, it was modeled after the Berlin Philharmonie in Germany. The Temple Buell opened its doors for the first time in 1991. Today we enjoy all six venues yearly for events such as the Colorado Ballet and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
