Music In The Desert Botanical Garden - The Spring Concert Series
February 6th - June 26th, 2015
While the 140 acre Desert Botanical Garden is perhaps the largest of it’s kind anywhere in the world it is more than a collection of cacti and succulent plants. The Garden is a great venue for entertainment events. One of the most popular series, year after year, is Music In The Garden.
Well known local musicians make this “Spring Concert Series In The Garden” one you won’t want to miss.

February’s lineup begins on the 6th with the very popular Domingo DeGrazia Spanish Guitar Band and, unfortunately, is already SOLD OUT. Domingo’s music fuses rhythmic Spanish guitar with the drama of Flamenco music. The Band is a true fusion of Latin, Salsa, Rock, even Gypsy-Folk producing dynamic rhythms and vibrant melodies. Next up on February 13th The Swingtips return to the garden for what I’m sure will be another crowd pleasing performance. Performers extraordinaire and in my opinion, the best swing band in town. If you’re looking to be entertained with some wonderful music from the Golden years of Swing don’t miss The Swingtips. To check out their performance at Wild Horse Pass Casino click here.
On February 20th The Phoenix Boys Choir sing music performed during coronation ceremonies, including the British Crowning Coronation Anthem by Handel, the Austrian Emperor Crowning and “Te Deum” by Franz Joseph Haydn.
This is an all-ages show and will be held in Dorrance Hall.
All-ages show ticket pricing is as follows: Members: $20 , Child: $10 / General Public: $25, Child: $12 (Child ticket is for ages 3 - 12).
February 27th, Novo Mundo brings their Latin Jazz fused with brazilian rhythms to the Garden. If you are a fan of salsa, bossa nova, and samba you’ll be an instant fan of Novo Mundo. Bring your dancing shoes. For more info on Novo Mundo click here.
