Shop for fresh produce at this winter farmer's market on Saturday in Pine Island, NY. Listen to music from local musicians as you browse the fresh produce and items from artisans and vendors from 10 am to 2 pm. This will be repeated again on February 28, 2015 and March 28, 2015 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Come and meet Francesco Mastalia, a local photographer who will be signing his new book "Organic: Farmers & Chefs of the Hudson Valley." This is a beautiful color photo book showing local farmers and chefs in their own environments with interviews that will truly inspire you.

The winter market is Kentlands is open on Saturday mornings. They may have to close for the expected severe weather this week.

Thanks everyone for your comments and yes we have tons of snow. It has been snowing about every 2 days or so. Thank goodness not like Boston though who have gotten 72 inches this past month.
