Well the Baseball Season is a week old.  There are some strange things this season.  I would have never thought that the Detroit Tigers would be 0-6.  I know that there relief pitching is suspect, but with that lineup I would think that the would pound teams and win 10-9 games or something.  They also have good starting pitching.  I know that it is way early in the season but that is surprising!

The other huge week one surprises are the Orioles and Cardinals both at 5-1.  Both teams were picked to finish at the bottom of their respective divisions.  Once again, it is very early in the season.  There is a lot of baseball to be played, and in the end I really think that the Tigers have too much talent to be very far off of first place in their division.

One great lesson to be learned whether things change dramatically in the standings, is that you still have to play the game.  It doesn't matter what the experts say, you still have to do it on the field or in life.  Real Estate is the same way, it matters more that you get out and compete, giving it your best, than what the "experts" say.  So I guess what I am trying to get to, is go out and give it your all, believing in yourself and good things will happen!

Too early for baseball!  NBA playoffs are about to start.

That's why they play 162 games - one week of the season seldom makes a huge difference in the final results, unless it's the final week. Great analogy to Real Estate!

Beseball is definately the sport of the season and my favorite growing up.

Very good message... you know, no one ever won the game by sitting on the bench.

Thanks, everyone, and I agree it is way too early, but I thought that it was interesting, especially the Tigers, they are absolutely loaded and should be at worst 4-2 instead of 0-6.

Love the fact that someone else has a passion for a great game. And the best strategy, don't go for the long ball every time, get on base...bunt, take a walk, just get on base and have your team members help you score. Too many want the glory and wind up striking out, it's doing the little things that get you rounding third and heading for home......Oh, and play good defense, don't commit errors! Funny...was that real estate or baseball??? CUBS

I'm so glad that Baseball season is here!!! I just wish the Mariners would play better! Pitching and fielding seem to be escaping us the first week of the season.... I know it's early but..... Well tomorrow is another day. Looking forward to some interesting conversations here about the Grand Old Game!

Best,

Scott
