Here's our look back at the homes that set the limits for cost and size last year in Loveland CO:

Most Expensive

4539 Indian Creek Rd. Loveland CO

4539 Indian Creek Rd. was the most expensive home sold in Loveland last year, and at $1,800,000, it still looks like someone got a great deal. This gorgeous custom 5 bedroom, 6 bath home with a 4-car garage sits on 35 acres of land with wonderful mountain views. Built in 2002, it offers 9,304 sq.ft., a pool, luxury finishes, a home theater, 4 fireplaces and 3 covered patios.

Least Expensive

1372 Big Thompson Loveland CO

On the other end of the scale, 1372 Big Thompson Rd. sold for $65,000. This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath 1,248 sq.ft. bungalow on 1.5 acres was built in 1920, but was heavily damaged in last year's flooding of the Big Thompson River and required substantial repair.

Largest

1545 Lake Dr. Loveland CO

At 10,054 sq.ft., 1545 Lake Dr. in Loveland was the largest home to sell last year, for $1,600,000. This fabulous custom home, with 270' of Lake Loveland shoreline and a private dock, offered tremendous mountain views, 5 bedrooms, 8 baths, 2 offices, a 5-car garage, an indoor pool and tennis courts.

Smallest

544 E 11th St Loveland CO

The smallest home to sell in Loveland last year was 544 E 11th St., a 1 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow built in 1908, measuring a cozy 560 sq.ft. on a 6,098 sq.ft. lot with a large back yard, garden, patio and shed. It needed a bit of work, but sold for $68,000 after only two days on the market as a fixer-upper.

I love these posts.  They help me understand the top and bottom of that market.

I'm surprised that the top pricing isn't higher.  I believe our top is somewhere around $16,000.

Very cool to see the Loveland Colorado Extreme Homes Dick. I find it very interesting. Colorado is really a pretty state and I find the people very laid back. You can call that a stereo-type but it's what I remember.

Dick,

I love this post, and the variety you cover.  I like the largest, not so much for its size or tennis court, but because it has views...views are so important, for us, it is a connection to the great outdoors.  A

Thanks for sharing the Extreme Homes in Loveland, Colorado. If that fixer didn't sit in an area with flooding - it would make a great investment. Frankly, I'd be worried about fixing it up and have the flood damage it again. Happy Thursday...I hear we'll be celebrating someone's Birthday in a special manner this March. :)

Dick - that is a great idea showing us every extreme.  The most expensive looks like a small hotel.

Hi Dick - as others have commented I love these extreme posts as Lenn Harley commented they really give the reader a grasp of a particular market.  Of course, your homebuying $$$ gets you a lotta bang for the buck and that's always nice.
